VDP Group regards the conscious use of energetic sources in planting and infrastructural choices as a priority, viewing the allocation of advanced control systems of all new plants, in full respect of all the BAT (Best Available Technologies) of the sector, as “must-have”. The 3 companies of the VDP Group have adopted an accurate and advanced energy management system and regularly carry out the energy review for the monitoring of consumptions and energy performances. The photovoltaic system, installed at the headquarters, covers an area of about 4000 m2 and has a peak power at 220 kW. The latest generation melting furnaces ensure maximum control of consumption during the melting phase.
