The machining, when requested by the client, is carried out by an outside approved supplier.
The Group has in his vendor list about 40 different mechanical workshops located throughout the national territory that allow to cover not only all types of machining necessary to the finishing of the castings (drilling, milling, boring, grinding, shaping, broaching, barenatura, rettifica, stozzatura, brocciatura, ecc) but also to carry out the final tests (equilibratura, pressing e tenuta con differenti fluidi balancing, pressing and sealing with different fluids) on pre-assembled or finished components.
VDP Group is also approved for the “free pass” supply (directly in the assembly line and without the need of extra control/trials) of components machined and assembled for the naval sector, agricultural sector, oil & gas.
